Me

Hi, I’m Damaris Benitez Franco. I'm a fashion designer based in Minneapolis with a focus on creating feminine garments that balance softness with structure. My design process is hands-on and intuitive, often rooted in the craft of garment construction and material exploration.

I hold an A.A.S. in Apparel Technologies from Minneapolis College, where I honed my technical skills and deepened my understanding of fit, form, and function. My work is influenced by my Mexican heritage, from traditional silhouettes and textiles to bold color palettes and storytelling I strive to subtly weave those cultural elements into my designs.

I’m passionate about creating thoughtful, expressive pieces that are both wearable and deeply personal. Currently, I’m seeking opportunities to grow within a collaborative design team where I can continue evolving my aesthetic and contribute to meaningful, well-crafted work.
